Religious testimonies in Albania - with a side trip to North Macedonia
In our perception, Albania is not only quite unknown as a geographical unit, but also with regard to the different religions and the associated architectures. On our trip we want to visit the most interesting monuments in their context and get to know testimonials from around 1,500 years ago. A trip to Macedonia makes it clear that the trip takes you to a region that goes beyond modern state borders.

Hanjo Sauer is emeritus professor of fundamental theology at the Catholic Theological Faculty in Linz. During the “Un” retirement, he accompanied travel groups and was particularly enthusiastic about Albania.
